Seed Bomb making is our favorite! make, create, throw it and grow it! lots of little lessons for the kids to embrace and the best bit…… they are rewarded with flowers & food!

family fun and messy creating
This workshop is a fun, hands on messy task, but greatly rewarding for all involved. Parents often love the task of creating something with their kids and vise versa.

therapeutic calmness as seed bombs are created
Once their seed bombs are dry they are ready to be taken home and thrown into a special place. One family have decided to create their special garden together around the cubby house. The anticipation of waiting for the seed bombs to grow is exciting not knowing what will pop up and grow out of the little balls.

it takes time and patience
Seeds available on the day were a mix of cottage garden flowers, sunflowers and a collection of vegetable seeds that have been seed saved from our garden over the years. Sunflowers, as always, proving to be most popular as they are easy for kids to pick up and the hope that they will grow something bigger than themselves.

index of seed bombs
Some kids just love to make a mess and squish the clay and dirt between their fingers, some make sure they have done their absolute best to follow instructions – age dependent of course 🙂

A family of seed bombs – one for each member to plant and care for.
A big heart warming thank you to all who attended this workshop in Carrum, Melbourne. The sun was shining and good times were had by all.
